Eric Laurence has worked for over twenty five years as an attorney handling complex real property, real estate finance, corporate and other business transactions (such as asset purchase and sale), and environmental compliance counseling matters. He has worked with some of Northern California's leading hotel and restaurant management and ownership companies, and has been lead counsel in the purchase, sale, leasing, ground leasing, financing, construction, development, operation and management of numerous hotel, restaurant, resort and spa facilities.
In addition to hotels and restaurants, Mr. Laurence's real estate work has included office buildings, residential apartment buildings, timeshares and condominiums, shopping centers, industrial campuses and light, assembly, R & D and warehouse facilities. He also counsels manufacturers, distributors, borrowers, lenders, sellers and acquirors, and landlords and tenants concerning environmental laws relating to hazardous substance handling including due diligence, compliance and liability allocation, as well as wetlands development and Clean Air Act emissions cases.
